Water abstraction plant for the artificial irrigation of agricultural and horticultural crops with a water abstraction shaft consisting of:a water catchment shaft, inland from the river basin(1) and connected by a channel(5) to the river basin(1) or a water catchment shaft located directly in the river basin area(6),where the water catchment area(3) in the water catchment area(6) or in the channel(5) between the water catchment area(1) and the water catchment area(6) in the shore area(10),Floating Water(1)where situated in the flow area(8) of the flowing water(1) and where it states that the water supply opening(3) is flushed by the water stream and the flow rate in the flow area(8) is strong enough to accommodate fuel deposits(9); orsafely avoid sediments at the water inlet(3) with sieve at the channel(5) or the water inlet inlet covered with sieve(6); andwhere the water inlet of the canal(5) or water outlet(3) directly in the flow area(8) is more than twice its cross section(5) or greater than the water outlet inlet(3); andwhere the waterway opening(3) of the canal inlet is covered with a sieve so narrow that a sufficient quantity of water, but no or few fish and small animals, can pass through; andwhere the water inlet(3) of the canal(5) or the water outlet opening(3) is so designed as to reach as far as the river basin to achieve the widest possible screen area, andthe sieve respectively. the screen surface is flat or curved around an axis vertically to the direction of flow of the flow water; andwhere the sieve can be a wire mesh or a grid or a hole plate with a variety of holes.
