A laser strainer of one embodiment comprises: a laser oscillator (13); a radiation injector (12) for applying a laser beam (30) to a radiation target (100); an optical transmission unit (14); a shutter (18) connected to the optical transmission unit (14); a liquid supply member (15) for supplying to the radiation injector (12) a liquid so as to cause the liquid to flow along an optical path of the laser beam (30) extending from the radiation injector (12) to the radiation target (100); a current radiation sensor (35) for obtaining current laser beam radiation information indicating whether the laser beam (30) is applied correctly to perform the current laser work-hardening operation on the radiation target (100); and a control unit (16) for controlling the shutter (18) in accordance with the information on the current laser beam radiation obtained by the current radiation sensor (35).
