The invention relates to a device for making pompons in a very short time. The size and volume of the tassels are relative to the number of turns of thread made around the cylinders arranged one next to the other and to the diameter of said cylinders. The device consists of two cylinders (1) and (2) which are placed one beside the other and around which the wire intended for the creation of the pompom is wound. These cylinders are equipped with slots (3) and (4) allowing the insertion of the scissors blade which will cut the wires. The device according to the invention is an object particularly used in the field of creative leisure, but it can be adapted to any use that may result therefrom. The device according to the invention is capable of being the subject of industrial manufacture.
