Spanishet consisting of a rod (1) with locking profile (la), equipped with a bit (2) supporting the handle (4), the bit of which is locked on the rod by a wedge. The wedge produces a double shape locking: one of its faces is designed to cooperate with the profile of the rod, the other face cooperates with a complementary shape made in the bit. Furthermore, the production of deformable gadroons on the wedge makes it possible to block the bit in translation on the rod. In the case of using a material which is difficult to deform for the wedge (metal for example), the gadroons are replaced by machining the back of the wedge and its housing in the bit at an angle, thus making it possible to lock the bit in translation on the rod. The ends of the wedge are equipped with means making it possible to immobilize the wedge in its final position.
