The invention provides a cylinder head assembly (10) for a combustion engine comprising: - a cylinder head body (14); - a cylinder head cover (16) which is fixed to the cylinder head body (14) by means of a series of screws (34) for fixing the cylinder head cover (16); and - a lateral strip (18) for mounting an accessory (12) on the cylinder head, in particular of a component (20) belonging to a turbocharger: - which is attached to the cylinder head body (14); - Which is fixed along a lateral face (24) of the cylinder head body (14); and - which comprises: --- an internal lateral face (36) which is in transverse abutment against a surface portion (25) facing the breech body (14); --- an inclined internal lateral face which extends downwards said internal lateral face (36) and which, with said surface portion facing the cylinder head body (14), delimits a housing (56) which is able to receive a part (21) of said accessory (12, 20); and --- an upper face (40) which is in abutment against a surface portion (30) facing the cylinder head cover (16).
