The data sharing system for a motor vehicle comprising two computers (2, 3) linked together by a link (4) and each connected to a screen (5, 8) capable of displaying a display area (7, 8a , 8b) of data. The first computer (2) is able to transfer to the second computer (3) coordinates and data associated with a display area (7) of data leaving the first screen when the said area is moved on the first screen, and the second computer is capable of displaying on the second screen the data display area from the coordinates and the transferred data so that said display area is displayed in full and ensuring visual continuity between the two screens.
