The invention relates to a method and a system for displaying and interacting with an aircraft control system, intended for an aircraft pilot, on board an aircraft flight deck. The method is implemented by a display and interaction system comprising a first human-machine interface called head-low and a second human-machine interface called head-high. The method includes determining a pilot line of sight, receiving (90) a command to switch to frozen display mode and maintaining (92) at least part of the display on the second man-machine interface in a fixed position, independently of the pilot's line of sight, then a display (96) of at least one additional man-machine interface element, as a function of the pilot's line of sight, in at minus a free area of the cockpit, and a display (100) of a cursor representative of the pilot's line of sight.
