The present invention relates to a support device for lapping parts (1) suitable for the lapping ring (5) of a lapping machine. The device comprises an outer casing (10), arranged on the lapping ring (5) and comprising at least one drilled passage (40). This outer casing (10) is configured to contain at least one part to be lapped (1). In addition, the device comprises a rod (50) ending in a pointed end (60), the axis of the rod (50) being substantially vertical. The rod (50) passes through the external envelope (10) through the drilled passage (40) which serves as a guide and the pointed end (60) of the rod (50) is intended to be positioned in an imprint (E) of the part to be ground in (1). A mass (30) is positioned on the rod (50). The invention also relates to a lapping machine equipped with such a support device and a lapping method which uses this type of lapping machine with support.
