The invention relates to a flushing mechanism intended to be mounted on a toilet water tank (1) having an outlet (100) for discharging water, the mechanism flushing toilet comprising: - a pull rod (2) intended to extend inside the tank and to drive shutter means (12) movable between a shutter position and at least one release of the orifice, - a pull tab (3) intended to extend from the reservoir, the pull tab comprising: - a first part (31) allowing a total ascent of the draw rod during a complete actuation of the first part; - a second part (32), a complete actuation of the second part allowing a partial ascent of the traction rod.
