The invention relates to a burner (1) comprising an annular circuit (2) for transporting fuel delimited by an internal tube (3) and an external tube (4) substantially concentric along a longitudinal axis (X), said circuit having: - an upstream part (2A) and a downstream part (2B) in the direction of flow of the fuel ending in an open end (2C), - a distance (S) between the internal tube (3) and the external tube (4 ) variable between the upstream part (2A) and the downstream part (2B) of said annular circuit (2), the burner (1) further comprising a deflection element (5) configured to impart a radial component to a fuel moving in said annular circuit (2) from the upstream part (2A) towards the open end (2C).
