According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps aimed at: identifying a damaged area on the panel; removing a portion of the panel containing said damaged area; establish a digital model of the panel; fabricating a mold (15) reproducing the digital model; making a repair patch (21) in the mold; polymerize the patch; making acoustic bores (27) in the patch, using acoustic bores (19) in the mold as guides; assemble the patch onto the panel, positioning it at the area where the damaged portion was removed.
