The invention relates to a system for intercepting and collecting bodies (15) conveyed by a flow of a fluid in a portion of the pipe, comprising in the passage: - a filtering surface (25a) placed in the path of the flow, -two collection channels (29c) each disposed at an edge (25c) of the surface and each provided with a collection opening (O2), - a mechanical sweeping member (31) of the surface which is suitable, on the one hand, in alternately pushing the bodies into one or the other channel when it reaches one or the other edge adjacent to said channel and, on the other hand, in closing off the opening of the channel in question when 'it reaches this position by virtue of its arrangement parallel to the opening considered.
