Floor covering for sports activities, comprising the following stack: - a textile layer (1) defining the contact surface with the outside, called the contact layer, the contact layer being hydrophobic, permeable at least over one area and having a puncture resistance of at least 0.3kN, preferably between 0.3kN and 7kN, a dynamic puncture resistance of at least 8mm, preferably between 8mm and 40mm, and a Young's modulus (E ) less than or equal to 44GPa, preferably between 5GPa and 20GPa, more preferably still between 9 and 15GPa, - an intermediate layer (2) underlying the contact layer, the intermediate layer being constituted by a geogrid; - a fibrous layer (3) defining the interface surface with the ground, called the interface layer, underlying the intermediate layer, the interface layer being hydrophilic and adapted to compensate for irregularities in the ground.
