This document relates to a transformer used as a series inductor for ZVS or LLC resonance converters comprising: a magnetic core of cylindrical or polygonal cross section; a coil (1) of an electrically insulating material providing a coil body; electrically insulated primary (2) and secondary (4) windings coaxially wound around an annular groove of said coil, wherein the coil (1) has extensions configured to be attached to terminals (5) for electrical connection with said primary (2) and secondary (4) windings, characterized in that a flexible low permeability magnetic film (3) is disposed, housed, between said primary (2) and secondary (4) windings surrounding said magnetic film ( 3) at least partly the primary winding (2), whereby the three elements: the primary winding (2), the magnetic film (3) and the secondary winding (4) are coaxial with each other and surround the core magnetic.
