The invention relates to a closure device (10) for an orifice in a wall of a motor vehicle, comprising: - a main body (30), provided with a water flow orifice (35); - a float for evacuating water from a vehicle, comprising a base (16) and a plurality of cylindrical air-trapping volumes (14), of diameter less than 5 mm, each of these volumes extending longitudinally, between the base and an opening (14o), located on the side opposite to said base; - means (36) for maintaining the float in the main body (30), between a water flow position and a closed position the main body flow orifice (35); - means (32,34) for positioning the obturator device in an orifice in said motor vehicle wall.
