An electrical connection from a stationary part 2 to a movable part 3 of a structure, including: a guide 17 provided on or in the stationary part or the movable part; a first electrical connector 13 attached to the stationary part; a second electrical connector 16 attached to the movable part; and a carriage 6 movable along the guide; wherein the carriage includes a closed loop electrical cable 8 mounted in or on the carriage body such that the electrical cable can rotate, wherein the first connector is electrically connected to the cable and the cable is electrically connected to the second connector. The cable may extend around two guide wheels 9 10 and the carriage may be slidably movable along the guide (figure 2). The structure may be a nacelle or a thrust reverser of an aircraft engine and the connection may be used to provide electrical power or transmit signals to one or more sensors or electronic devices mounted on the transcowl of an aircraft engine.
