A support member for elevating the head of a baby’s bed, such as a Moses basket, to prevent acid-reflux. The support member has a height adjustable platform (fig 4) that is positioned beneath the frame of the Moses basket, when in use. The height of the platform can be set according to the level of reflux symptoms of the child. Preferably the support member has two walls having slots produced at different heights that allow a platform with two protrusions at either end of the platform (fig 5) to engage with said slots, and allow the platform to be positioned at different heights allowing the angle of elevation to be altered. Alternatively holes can be added to the protrusions of the platform, and pins could be slid though the holes fixing the platform securely to the wall (fig 6). The walls are secured together by a number of securing bars that engage with holes in the walls. The bars also act as rails to prevent the frame of the Moses basket from sliding off the platform. Preferably the support is a solid unit made of wood or metal.
