The liquid formulation for use in preparing a screen wash comprises 70-85% wt% alcohol; 0.01-2wt%; surfactant and water to balance. The alcohol is optionally ethanol, propan-1-ol or propan-2-ol or a combination thereof. The surfactant is preferably an alkyl sulphosuccinate salt and the formulation may optionally include a fragrance and a preservative. The preservative may be an isothioazolinone and can also include a rhodamine, naphthalene azo or xanthene dye and/or an aversive agent such as denatonium benzoate or denatonium saccharide. The formulation may also be in a concentrate formulation.
