Ostomy bag filter with adhesive webbing

A filter for an ostomy bag comprises a backing layer 2, a layer of odour-adsorbing material 3, a hydrophobic membrane layer 4, and a least one layer of adhesive webbing 6. The use of a fine webbing of adhesive material allows the filter to be adhesively bonded to the ostomy bag in a manner that minimised damage to the material of the bag.
