A bracket 106 for mounting a fuel pump 105 on an internal combustion engine (102, figure 1) comprises first attachment features 201 for enabling attachment of the bracket to a cylinder head 103, and second attachment features 204 to enable the fuel pump to be attached to the bracket. The bracket also comprises a first component 205 comprising the first attachment features and a second component 206 comprising the second and third attachment features 207. The third attachment features are configured to enable attachment of the second component to the first component (205). The bracket may comprise a bore 209 configurable for receiving a tappet for actuating the fuel pump, which may be within the first component. Preferably the first component has a bearing surface for location around a camshaft 104. A vehicle comprising an internal combustion engine, a fuel pump and a bracket and a method of mounting a bracket are also claimed.
