Provided is a method for preparing a monolithic catalyst. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a hydrotalcite-like mud; (2) mixing the hydrotalcite-like mud with water and a binder to obtain a coating slurry; and (3) evenly coating the coating slurry onto a carrier, drying the coated carrier and then calcining same to obtain the monolithic catalyst. The preparation method can overcome the problem of catalyst agglomeration in the preparation process, thereby obtaining a higher catalytic activity, and the preparation process is simple and efficient.
