A method for treating a patient with high risk of cardiovascular disease with hypercholesterolemia and type 1 or type 2 diabetes is being received. These methods generally include the combination of insulin therapy and administering antibodies to a patient with hpcsk9 antibody or administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising the antigen binding fragment to the patient.
