Disclosed are a synchronous broadcast information sending and detection method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first device generating a sidelink-synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel block (S-SSB), wherein the S-SSB at least comprises a sidelink-primary synchronization signal (S-PSS), a sidelink-secondary synchronization signal (S-SSS), and a physical sidelink broadcast channel (PSBCH) signal, and does not comprise a demodulation reference signal (DMRS); and the first device sending the S-SSB. Through the present application, the same S-SSB exists under a CP-OFDM waveform and a DFT-s-OFDM waveform.
