Provided are a ranging device and a mobile platform. The ranging device comprises an emitter (203) and a detector (205). The emitted (203) is used for emitting a sequence of light pulses. The detector (205) is used for receiving at least part of the return light reflected by an object and converting same into an electrical signal, and determining the distance of the object from the ranging device and/or the orientation thereof according to the electrical signal. At least part of a non-working surface outside an emitting light path for the sequence of light pulses and a receiving light path for the return light is provided with an anti-reflection material and/or is provided with a reflecting surface having a preset inclination angle to reflect stray light outside the detector. The non-working surface is a surface that the sequence of light pulses and the return light do not pass through. By providing the anti-reflection material and/or the reflecting surface having a preset inclination angle on the non-working surface, crosstalk noise is reduced or eliminated, and the performance of the ranging device is improved.
