A method for performing billing processing on network resources, the method comprising: determining a reporting parameter set RPC, wherein the reporting parameter is used to describe operation content of a performance index reporting operation PPRO, and the PPRO comprises reporting data corresponding to a network slice performance index of a network slice instance (NSI) to a network slice billing function device; sending an identifier of the NSI and the RPC to a network slice management function device so as to instruct the network slice management function device to execute the PPRO according to the identifier of the NSI and the RPC, so that the network slice billing function device may perform billing processing on the NSI. The described method causes the result for customer billing to be matched with the investment of an operator for NSIs, which is helpful in improving the usage efficiency of network resources and meeting the diverse network service needs of industry customers.
