PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for freely forming an image excellent in durability on a porous sound-absorbing material and imparting high designability to the porous sound-absorbing material, without impairing a sound absorbing effect.SOLUTION: A surface treatment liquid for a porous sound-absorbing material which contains water and a coloring material fixing component. The coloring material fixing component contains at least one component selected from a group consisting of cationic water dispersible resins, inorganic particles having a median size measured by a dynamic light scattering method of less than 1 μm, and polyvalent metal salts.SELECTED DRAWING: None
