In the case of a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode to which a zinc oxide doped with aluminum is applied, the zinc oxide doped with aluminum adsorbs lithium polysulfide (LiPS) generated during charging and discharging of the lithium secondary battery, thereby charging and discharging the battery.
