PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relaxation type oscillator having an extremely small temperature deviation of an oscillation cycle. An oscillation circuit, a variable frequency divider, and a counter are provided, and the oscillation circuit includes a first clock signal having an oscillation period with a negative first-order temperature coefficient and a second clock signal having a positive first-order temperature coefficient. The signal is switched by the signal of the counter and outputted as the third clock signal, the variable frequency divider divides the third clock signal outputted by the oscillation circuit and outputs it as the clock signal, and the counter is reset by the clock signal.
