PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel magnetic nanoparticle immobilized nitrogen-containing heterocyclic carbene-gold (I) complex used for an addition treatment to a carbon-carbon multiple bond as a magnetic nanoparticle immobilized catalyst.SOLUTION: There is provided a magnetic nanoparticle immobilized nitrogen-containing heterocyclic carbene-gold (I) complex having a structure where a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic carbene-gold (I) complex represented by the following formula is immobilized to the magnetic nanoparticle by replacing at least one of 3 R-O-group binding to Si in the general formula with an oxygen atom in the magnetic nanoparticle. (I), where Ris a C1 to 4 alkyl group, Ris a C1 to 20 hydrocarbon group, n is an integer of 1 to 30, L is an ion of halogen, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, perchloric acid, tetrafluoro borate, hexafluoro phosphate, hexafluoroantimonate or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
