When production/consumption mismatch is prevented through energy production/consumption prediction and comparison according to the energy remaining amount collected by energy harvesting and operation scenario, and when operation such as wireless reception with low energy consumption is required, SoC Wake- A method is provided to extend the up time to streamline the operation of smart sensors. An energy harvesting system for sensors according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a power management IC (PMIC) that harvests energy and stores the energy in a storage; A signal processing unit that processes sensor data generated by a sensor operating with energy stored in the storage; A communication unit wirelessly transmitting the sensor data processed by the signal processing unit; A control unit for controlling the operation of the signal processing unit and the communication unit; And an estimator for estimating energy stored in the storage, estimating energy required for sensor operation, and comparing the estimated energy to determine whether to supply energy from the storage to the sensor. Accordingly, the production/consumption mismatch can be prevented by predicting and comparing energy residuals collected by energy harvesting and energy production/consumption according to the operation scenario, and operation such as wireless reception with low energy consumption is required. In this case, by extending the SoC''s wake-up time, it is possible to efficiently operate energy of low-power smart sensor devices where energy management is important.
