Problem to be solved: to provide a coloring composition for an alkali polymerized nylon having a small mixing and dispersibility with an alkali polymerization nylon raw material mixture and having a high degree of agglomeration and settling of the coloring agent in the molded article, and easy cleaning of a measuring instrument and a measuring container, and having little adverse effect on the working environment due to scattering or the like.The coloring composition was used for an alkali polymerization nylon containing at least a colorant, a vehicle, a lactam compound, and a metal soap.The coloring composition contained in the container was solid at room temperature, and it was heated at 70.degree. C. or higher for each container to enable low viscosity liquefaction.The alkali polymerized nylon is colored with a coloring composition for the alkali polymerization nylon.The alkali polymerized nylon having mixed and stirred coloring compositions for the alkali polymerized nylon was polymerized and solidified in a heated mold.Diagram
