[Problem] To provide a device for inhibiting the firing of shells which is capable of stopping the rotation of a motor when a bullet becomes a shell, without changing a conventional mechanical box. [Solution] This device for inhibiting the firing of shells is provided with: a switch which is provided in series with a contact point with which contact is made in order to pass a current through a motor when a trigger is pulled; and a current passage stopping part which receives an operation of a bullet detection device for detecting that a bullet has become a shell, and disconnects the switch to inhibit the passage of current through the motor.
