摘要

The representation of spatial audio scenes using higher order ambisonics (HOA) techniques typically requires multiple coefficients per hour. This data rate is too high for most practical applications that require real-time transmission of audio signals.According to the present invention, compression is executed in the space region instead of the Hoa region.(n + 1) two input HOA coefficients are converted into two (n + 1) two equivalent signals in the spatial domain, and the resulting (n + 1) two time domain signals are input to a bank of perceptual codecs in parallel.In the decoder side, the individual spatial area signals are decoded, and the spatial area coefficients are converted into the original HOA regions to restore the original HOA representation.Diagram
