The present invention provides a method for analyzing a sample containing metal fine particles by an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer without the need for standard metal fine particles. A method for analyzing fine metal particles in a liquid using an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, comprising: a standard solution storing means for storing a standard solution containing a specific element of known concentration, and aspiration and discharge of the standard solution. A standard solution introducing device composed of a syringe pump, a solution introducing means having a standard solution nebulizer to which the standard solution is supplied, and a standard solution spray chamber is provided, and the standard solution is supplied at a flow rate of 3 μL / min or less. The present invention relates to a method for analyzing metal fine particles, which is directly supplied to a nebulizer for a standard solution and calculates the particle size value of the metal fine particles due to the specific element based on the signal intensity of the standard solution obtained from a detector and the physical quantity of the introduced specific element.
