PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide diagnostic agents and kits for the prediction of the risk of recurrence of pancreatic cancer which is highly useful as a means for the prediction of the recurrence of pancreatic cancer using a factor capable of linking the prediction result of the risk of recurrence of pancreatic cancer to a therapy, the factor being specific to the recurrence of pancreatic cancer; and to provide prediction methods thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a diagnostic agent for the prediction of the risk of recurrence of pancreatic cancer: containing a protein and/or polypeptide capable of specifically recognizing a translation product of any one gene selected from the group consisting of AMAP1 and EPB41 L5. A kit for the prediction of the risk of pancreatic cancer comprising the diagnostic agent is provided. Provided is a prediction method of the risk of recurrence of pancreatic cancer: comprising (A) determining the expression level of the translation product of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of AMAP1 and EPB41 L5, in the biological sample collected from a patient who receives the therapy of pancreatic cancer; and (B) predicting the risk of recurrence of pancreatic cancer of the patient based on the translation product expression level determined in the step (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
