PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for a fire resistant member, which is excellent in workability and can obtain a fire resistant structure of stable quality. SOLUTION: Clip parts 23a, 23b are parts for sandwiching a refractory member. The positioning portion 25 is formed by bending outward with respect to the sandwiching direction of the clip portions 23a and 23b. The fixing portions 27a and 27b are formed at the ends of the clip portions 23a and 23b, respectively. The fixing portions 27a and 27b are portions that hold the refractory member sandwiched between the clip portions 23a and 23b. By closing the clip portions 23a and 23b and hooking the fixing portion 27a on the fixing portion 27b, the clip portions 23a and 23b are fixed in the closed state.
