摘要
The present invention relates to an ultrasonic contrast agent used for treating retinal disorders by temporarily disrupting the human blood-retinal barrier (BRB), which is an application of an unfocused ultrasonic (US) beam. Immediately before and/or during application to the human retina. The present invention further relates to therapeutically active agents for use in the treatment of human retinal disorders, the therapeutically active agents being delivered in combination with an ultrasound contrast agent, the ultrasound contrast agent being the human blood-retinal barrier. The therapeutically active agent passes through the BRB to target the retina prior to and/or during the application of the unfocused ultrasound (US) beam to temporarily disrupt (BRB). To be able to. The invention also relates to an ophthalmic ultrasound delivery device that may be used to treat retinal disorders.
