Control console and accessory for RF nerve ablation and method for performing RF nerve ablation

An electrosurgical system and method for RF nerve ablation is provided. Control consoles are utilized with passive or active cable attachments that connect to various electrode attachments such as monopolar and bipolar self-grounding types. The control console has a plurality of RF amplifiers associated with the channels of the control console and energized according to control signals applied non-simultaneously by the controller of the control console. The control console stores and processes identification and usage data for cable accessories and electrode attachments that are or have been connected to the control console over a period of time. The control console displays a representation of this processed data on the graphical user interface. The control console further provides components and techniques for stimulus and impedance verification and calibration for situations where a stimulus signal or impedance measurement signal is provided by the control console.
