The present invention relates to a device for manufacturing in situ a material intended to be applied to keratin fibers and for applying said material. The device of the invention comprises a microfluidic module capable of receiving one or more incoming fluids and of delivering at least one outgoing fluid containing a polymer, and an injection module capable of extruding at a controlled rate a filament from a outgoing fluid containing a polymer. The filament is applied directly to a keratin fiber. The device of the invention finds an advantageous application in the production in situ and the application of false eyelashes.
