PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution line accident cause determination system that is capable of determining a detailed and high precision accident cause and is effective for advancement and promotion of efficiency of operation work and maintenance work of a power distribution system, a method, and a program.SOLUTION: In a distribution line accident cause determination system that analyzes waveform data at the time of an accident in a distribution line to determine a cause of the accident, waveform data includes a zero-phase current, a zero-phase voltage, each phase current, and each phase voltage. The system includes: an effective value calculation unit 4a for converting an instantaneous value of each data of the zero-phase current, zero-phase voltage, each phase current, and each phase voltage into an effective value; an accident appearance change detection unit 5 for dividing the effective value of each waveform data for a constant period to detect an accident appearance for each constant period; and an accident classification determination unit 6 for determining whether an accident in a distribution line is a one-line grounding accident or an accident other than the one-line grounding accident based on the accident appearance for each constant period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
