METHOD FOR DETECTING SEALING DEFECTS IN THE MEMBRANE OF A FLAT ROOF

The method relates to the detection of leaks (4) in an impermeable membrane (3) covering the surface (1a) of a flat roof (1) and fixed on the edges (1b) of the roof (1). It comprises the following steps: • covering the roof (1) with a liquid (8), • blowing a gas under the impermeable membrane (3) until it comes off the roof surface (1a) ( 1), • detect leaks (4) of the membrane (3) by gas evolution.
