BEHAVIORAL MONITORING AND FEEDING MONITORING SYSTEM FOR MAMMALIAN BREEDING

A behavioral monitoring and feed control system of a mammalian farm includes: a control member (CTRL) configured to provide, for each mammal, a feed ration to a concentrate vending machine (DAC); and a sensor housing (C), for each mammal, configured to be installed on an ear of said mammal. Each sensor housing includes an accelerometer and a radio transceiver for communicating with the controller. The system further comprises: means (AN1) for comparing accelerometer measurements, associated with each mammal, with reference data (DB1), and deriving behavioral states from said mammal in association with their respective durations; means (GM) for determining, for each mammal, a level of activity from the behavioral states of said mammal over a predetermined time period; means for determining (GM), for each mammal, the feed ration reference, from the activity level determined for said mammal.
