The invention relates to a method for transmitting digital content with a continuous flow to a client device for accessing digital content. The inventive method notably makes it possible to apply an access control system to the protection of video streams in direct mode. The method also significantly improves the security and safety of the system, based on a mandatory periodic feedback from the client device.
