The invention pertains to a radio emission device for emitting a signal emitted in the form of a sequence of pulses, and to the method for shaping a pulsed signal associated therewith. The device according to the invention comprises a part (201) for generating the pulses on carrier frequency, and an analogue chain for amplifying the pulses before their emission (210) comprising a plurality of successive amplification stages (211, 212, 213, 214). It also comprises a module (230) for generating a drive signal of substantially trapezoidal shape, the said drive signal being applied as bias voltage for an amplifier (213) of a stage of the amplification chain for each of the pulses.
