To provide electrolytic copper foil used for producing a cathode current collector of a secondary battery or the like by way of a roll-to roll process, capable of preventing the deterioration of product productivity, which is caused by a sharp bending or a crease of an electrolytic copper foil occurring in the process.SOLUTION: The electrolytic copper foil comprising a copper film 111 containing at least 99 wt.% of copper and a protective layer 112 disposed on the copper film, has tensile strength of 45 to 65 kgf/mm, an elongation rate of 3 to 13%, and a thickness of 4 to 35 μm. The protective layer preferably contains one or more of a chromate salt, benzotriazol, and a silane compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
