The invention relates to a method for arranging a wheelchair fastening tray (1) in a car (2) and a wheelchair transportation car (2). A wheelchair transportation car (2) comprises - a wheelchair fastening tray (1), which forms a lowered car (2) floor (5), which has been retrofitted between two shock absorbers (3a, 3b) in the car; - points in the car body (7) by the wheelchair fastening tray (1), from which the original fastening bolts (4a) of the shock absorbers have been removed; - holes (8a) drilled in the car body (7) for detachable fastening bolts (9a) for shock absorbers; - detachable fastening bolts (9a) for shock absorbers retrofitted in said holes (8a).
