The present invention relates to a joinery comprising a frame defining an opening in an opening plane and an opening configured to reversibly close said opening, said opening being articulated according to a pivot connection at an upright (21) of the opening with respect to said frame, said joinery further comprising sealing means between the frame and the opening, said sealing means comprising a seal (25) sealing fixed directly to the upright (20) of the nearest frame of the pivot link, said seal (25) extending longitudinally over at least part of the height of the upright (20) of the frame, said seal (25) and the profile of said upright (21) the opening being configured so that the profile (29) of the upright (21) of the opening urges said seal (25) in compression along an axis X parallel to the opening plane when said opening obstructs the opening from d ormant.
