An adaptor, a terminal device, a method for monitoring battery safety of a terminal device, and a system for monitoring battery safety of a terminal device are provided. The method for monitoring battery safety includes the following. When a battery of the terminal device is in a stable state, a voltage curve of the battery is generated by acquiring in real time a voltage of the battery. At least one voltage drop of the battery of at least one duration is obtained according to the voltage curve. Whether the battery is abnormal is determined according to the at least one voltage drop of the at least one duration. According to the method for monitoring battery safety of a terminal device, whether the battery is abnormal can be detected by monitoring the at least one voltage drop of the at least one duration when the battery is in the stable state, whereby prompt alert and repair can be done, thereby avoiding safety hazard due to battery abnormality.
