THE COLLABORATION DRILL AND DISCUSSION LEARNING METHOD TO IMPROVE THE STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVENESS ON THE SUBJECT OF OFFICE PROCEDURE ADMINISTRATION IN X GRADE OF OFFICE ADMINISTRATION CLASS IN SMK WIJAYA KUSUMA FOR THE YEAR OF 2015/2016.Skirpsi. The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sebelas Maret University. Surakarta, February 2016. The objective of the research is to improve the student activeness in carrying out office procedure administration in X grade office administration class in SMK Wijaya Kusuma Surakarta through the use of the collaboration of drill and discussion learning method. The type of research conducted by researchers is the Classroom Action Research. The subjects of research were 30 students in X grade of office administration class in SMK Wijaya Kusuma Surakarta. Techniques of data collected trought observation, documentation and interview method. The design of the study consists of two cycles, each cycle include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. It using non-test instrument in the form of observation sheet to measure the activity of students through the oral, visual, writing, and mental aspect. The result of the research shows that the application of the collaboration of drill and discussing learning method can improve the students activeness. The students activeness improved in each cycle, from 26.67% in pre-cycle to 46.67% in cycle I and to 76.67% in cycle II. The percentage of each learning activities indicator also improved. Oral activities improved from 34.17% in pre-cycle to 61.67% in cycle I and to 78.33% in cycle II. Visual Activities improved from 55.83% in pre-cycle to 67.92% in cycle I and to 80.83% in cycle II. Writing activities improved from 65.83% in pre-cycle to 77.50% in cycle I and to 89.17% in cycle II. Mental activities improved from 49.17% in pre-cycle to 64.17% in cycle I and to 76.25% in cycle II. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the collaboration of drill and discussion learning method to improve the student learning activeness on the subject of carrying out office procedure administration in X grade of office administration class in SMK Wijaya Kusuma Surakarta.
