The United States and Japanese counterpart panels on aquaculture were formed in1969 under the United States-Japan Cooperative Program in Natural Resources (UJNR). Charged with exploring and developing bilateral cooperation, the panels have focused their efforts on exchanging informtion related to aquaculture which could be of benefit to both countries. Some of the subjects included in the report are: Marine fishes and Shellfish; Reproduction physiology, growth, and Ecology.
